​​Our kennel staff is made up of dog and cat lovers - of course!!  We look for people who have a genuine interest in animal care and are willing and able to treat our pet guests like they would their own dogs - like family.  

Job Description:

Our kennel staff is responsible for all animal care including, but not limited to:

• Exercising dogs
  
• Feeding & medicating dogs and cats
  
• Cleaning kennels and cat condos
  
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming
  
• Scooping exercise yards
  
• Walking dogs to and from kennels for owners
  
• Playing with boarding and daycare dogs
  
• General facility and grounds cleaning
  

This is a physical job.  Handling dogs and getting chores done requires:

• kneeling, lifting, and carrying are all done on a daily basis. 
  
• Walking and standing on concrete and uneven surfaces (lawn, graveled areas) 
  
• Getting pulled by dogs on leash
• Getting jumped on by dogs

Hours:

Full or Part time positions available seasonably (summer) or year-round.  Shifts start as early as 7am and can go as late as 10pm.

Pay:

​Current minimum wage +, depending on experience. Tips.  Employee discounts for pet care and grooming.
